The big list of nominees for this prestigious, yearly award were announced today. A couple of Canadian cookbooks are in the running. They are Toque: Creators of a New Quebec Gastronomy by Normand Laprise and published by Editions du Passage, which was nominated in two categories – photography and cooking from a professional point of view; Burma: River of Flavour, by Naomi Duguid, published by Artisan.
